We strived to find a local, traditional architectural language to maximize the preservation of the original village planning environment, aiming not to affect, intrude upon, or damage the original rural living environment. Furthermore, we hoped to use new building materials and construction methods to create rural architecture with broad reference significance. Therefore, during the project renovation period, we made multiple trips to the rural site to communicate with the construction team about the architectural language, construction methods, and how to create local characteristics. More importantly, local villagers actively participated in the construction process, providing very important guidance and reference value for our design work with their traditional building experience and simple perspective.
