Haikou Fuxingcheng Future Enterprise Headquarters Office Park
Country City:Haikou, Hainan
Area:
Type:Office, Architectural design
Date:2022

To enterprises, an industrial park embodies brand image, acts as a project carrier and functions as a workplace. To employees, who spend no less than one-third of their daily lives within the park, it is far more than an office compound — it defines a lifestyle. Hence, the park’s overall environment and spatial character are pivotal to corporate growth as well as employees’ work and quality of life.
Nestled in Haikou West Coast New Area, Haikou Fuxingcheng sits between Haikou Central Cluster and Chengmai Old Town. As a pivotal node along the coastal integration axis of northern Hainan, it undertakes a vital role in the coordinated development of the Haikou-Chengmai-Wenchang integrated region. The project’s West Coast Internet Headquarters Base plot is separated from Central Park only by a road, enjoying unparalleled landscape endowments. It is well-served by nine major supporting facilities, including the 1,400-mu Central Park, Wuyuanhe National Wetland Park, Science and Technology Museum and Library. Embracing the design philosophy of "Urban Valley", the project aims to deliver a diversified office destination for high-tech innovation enterprises and professionals. Adopting minimalist folded-line design vocabulary and an open, shared landscape layout, it creates a new-generation headquarters park that seamlessly integrates fashion & technology, openness & sharing, and green ecology.

Wuxi Raumplus Asia-Pacific R&D Center
Country City:Wuxi, Jiangsu
Area:
Type:Office, Architectural design
Date:2023

Raumplus was founded in Bremen, Germany, in 1986 by furniture engineer Jürgen Guddas, focusing on wardrobe systems and sliding doors. Its products have repeatedly won top industry accolades, including the Red Dot Design Award, German IF Design Award and German National Design Award. As a leading brand in the European market, Raumplus inherits the design philosophy of Bauhaus: German precision craftsmanship, innovative functional design and minimalist aesthetic style.

In the design of the Raumplus Asia-Pacific R&D Center, concise and powerful architectural massing serves as a core element of brand recognition. We prioritize the visual tension of the building itself and adopt the contrast of virtual and solid interfaces to establish a multi-layered spatial sequence.

We intend the visual tension of the architecture to derive from the perceived internal force and dynamic changes within the form, generating diverse intrinsic structural momentum. Such momentum is reflected in magnitude, direction, contour, color, intensity and motion rhythm, ultimately endowing the building with a distinctive appearance that sets it apart fundamentally from the surrounding context.

Furthermore, the application of the brand’s corporate colors shapes a rhythmically articulated facade, establishing a concise and effective brand identity. By reconstructing the artistic conception of woodland scenery, the facade adopts a rhythmic arrangement reminiscent of musical staves. This approach relieves the oppressive sense brought by the building’s large volume toward the surroundings. Meanwhile, a series of display showcases are embedded within the rhythmic sequence, turning the production process itself into a visual spectacle. Much like a modern industrial film narrative, the project heralds the arrival of an entirely new, revolutionary lifestyle.

Wuhan Tianyu Lakeside Theatre
Country City:Hanchuan, Hubei
Area:
Type:Culture, Architectural design
Date:2025

The theatre itself serves as a vessel for performances, while standing as an iconic landmark of the site. The interplay between void and solid represents not only a transformation of space, but also a shift in the mutual viewing relationship between the subject and the object.

Performance is an art of time, and the stage a flowing space. The theatre space and the performer-audience relationship interact mutually. The traditional proscenium arch creates a binary separation between actors and spectators, leaving an invisible wall—the so-called "fourth wall"—between viewing and performing. Nevertheless, performance forms can be diverse, and accordingly, the spatial interpretation of the theatre can be reconstructed in entirely new ways.
